This tiny marshman's cottage on the River Ant, was home for a whole family in Victorian times. Inside you can see how the family lived and the tools they used for working on the marshes.

The cottage also has information and displays about How Hill and the Broads. Plus enquiry service, bookings for Electric Eel boat trips and the wildlife walking trail, and small shop with books, maps, guides, postcards and gifts.

Recommended length of visit: 20 to 40 minutes (museum only)

Travel and parking
From Ludham on the A1062, head north on How Hill Road for one mile. Next to Howe Hill moorings on the River Ant.

Public transport
Bus services 6 (Sanders Coaches) and 12 (First Eastern Counties) to Ludham.
